Giethoorn
Referring to the Venice of Holland, Giethoorn is located in a beautiful area of the Netherlands called the Weerribben. Giethoorn is a traditional Dutch town house that was formerly only accessible by boat. It has about 180 bridges and 2620 for its residents. It was founded in 1230 by Mediterranean refugees and its origins are tied to the very peat.

De Haar Castle Utrecht
Located right in the center of the Netherlands, De Haar Castle is one of the few remaining European castles that have kept their medieval appeal, with towers, ramparts, canals, gates and drawbridges. Near Utrecht and only a 30 minute drive from Amsterdam, this castle was completely restored and partially rebuilt in the late 19th century.
Visit a windmill
