The Dutch Wadden Islands are located in the the north of country in the North Sea. There are 5 inhabited Wadden Islands of which one lies in the province North Holland and the other four are located in the province of Friesland. Some examples of the islands are
Ameland,
Vlieland and
Terschelling. The Islands are popular tourist destinations, they offer a great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful and unique piece of nature.

Weerribben Wieden National Park has the largest continuous bog in Northwest Europe. It exists out of a labyrinth of lakes, canals, moor woods grasslands and reed plots. This nature park is perfect for sailing, cycling and walking visitors. Also the famous village Giethoorn is located in this National Park, so this is the perfect place for a daytrip. Rent a boat in Giethoorn and explore the Weerribben by boat and maybe you’ll spot an otter.

Discover Haarlem and learn its history
Haarlem is the capital of the province North Holland, and it was founded in the 13th century. It is also the site of customized walking tours where the guide meets the traveler at a place of their choosing. The two-hour long tour can also be tailored to suit the visitor’s interests.
